.Wendy Blenning

Wendy Blenning, MSW, LCSW

I received my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 1985.  I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1988.

Most of my career has been spent working for non-profit organizations providing counseling as well as clinical supervision for interns and license-ready clinicians.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals addressing a wide array of issues and circumstances including depression, anxiety, sexuality and gender, relationships, life transitions, self esteem, personal growth, stress management, work, decision-making, and interpersonal problems.

My approach is growth orientated, building on an individual’s strength, successes and positive experiences, never minimizing the influence of past experiences. I believe that it is essential to develop a supportive, caring, honest relationship based on respect in order to assist an individual in meeting their self-defined goals.
